Chartwell Bridlewood offers social and recreational activities and events that appeal to a range of interests—and our programs are entirely optional.
Participate in our engaging activities
Our monthly activities calendar has plenty to choose from. If you like to exercise, you might like to join a yoga or fitness class or play virtual bowling. Brain games and crossword sessions are always a hit with our residents, as well as drop-ins for our card sharks. You’re in luck if you like music: we arrange regular visits from live performers and musicians, and you’re welcome to play on our piano. Or come out to socialize at a wine and cheese event. Spiritual services are available at the residence and in the community. Do you like to get out and about and explore the community as much as we do? Then you’ll want to know about our day trips for shopping and errands or to go sightseeing. We take scenic bus tours, go to exhibitions and concerts, and visit Ottawa’s many attractions devoted to the arts, nature, culture, and history.

Our dining room is a hive of activity at mealtimes, with the bistro standing in as a meeting place when you’d like a coffee with something freshly baked. Meet up with other active seniors in the fitness room, or on the outdoor walking paths right on our beautiful grounds with lush green space. The country kitchen is where you’ll find cooking demonstrations, while the movie theatre brings everyone together to watch new releases and classics.
